Implementation Strategies

Considering the above mentioned principles, Choice Made Constructions strives to achieve its rehabilitation and reconstruction objectives based on the following operational strategies:

  • To encourage the community to identify, prioritize and justify their needs well organized with technical inputs from staff.
  • The projects are identified, planned and even designing in close cooperation of the community.
  • With the exception of some core technical staff of the project, companies tries its best to recruit labors from project areas of surrounding villages and utilize available local materials and resources in the area.
  • To facilitate capacity building of the target community and companies own staff during implementation of the projects.
  • To promote the spirit of ownership of the project among the community to ensure that the project is maintained by beneficiaries after completion.

 

Criteria for Selection of Target Area:

Companies implementing the project in the area, based on the following criteria:

  • Where the political and security stability exist.
  • Where people are in dire o assistance.
  • Where staff have access to the site and frequent monitoring is possible.
  • Where community shows their interest in significant of labors and local materials.
  • Where the assistance is provided to different ethnic groups.
  • Where all in habitants of the project have equal access to the assistance regardless of religion, race and political affiliation.
